I am so in love with the writings of “Mathew Arnold”(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_Arnold) , an English poet. His sensibility touches my soul and how beautifully he sketches the pain of losing someone or the yearnings make me wonder, leaving me insomniac for days 🙂
My most treasured work from “Arnold”- Requiescat”…hope you guys too enjoy its fluidity and the hidden emotions 🙂 Its rather a sad one, i thought to include some merry works by him, but it really would have been injustice to you, for my inspiration is from this poem, so am sharing out my heart..
Strew on her roses, roses,
And never a spray of yew!
In quiet she reposes;
Ah, would that I did too!
Her mirth the world required;
She bathed it in smiles of glee.
But her heart was tired, tired,
And now they let her be.
Her life was turning, turning,
In mazes of heat and sound.
But for peace her soul was yearning,
And now peace laps her round.
Her cabin’d, ample spirit,
It flutter’d and fail’d for breath.
To-night it doth inherit
The vasty hall of death.Happy weekend to all..stay blessed 🙂
